This is exactly right. @JoeBiden needs to talk about how House Republicans refuse to discuss his comprehensive immigration reform package, which would stop the flood of undocumented people into the US. MAGA propaganda is effectively using the border chaos to dupe voters.

Given that republicans in Congress have blocked comprehensive immigration reform for decades and continue to refuse to deal with the whole of the problem in favor of grandstanding makes everything bad happening at the border the fault of republican lawmakers. I don’t see any other logical explanation.

Messaging has not been one of the Biden admin's strongest suits. They have achieved so much, yet the average voters know very little. All they hear are the usual R talking points: inflation (one of the best in the developed world); interest rates (forecasted to start coming down); border (Rs are happy to let this problem fester and have zero interest in working with the Ds to find a solution).

That was the best piece I’ve seen on MSNBC in a very long time. Thank you SO much Ron! You were spot on in everything you said. Everything! So much of the same repetitive stories and yet the border crisis is never discussed. More. Of. This. Bravo 🙌🏼

Agreed. The President needs to come out and drag Republicans for not working on immigration reform. Republicans don't want to fix anything. They need grievances for their politics. Republicans are saboteurs.

They should call republicans out more aggressively. Republicans always use religion as their "political justification", but spin the border as an invasion but never a humanitarian problem that they contributed to. Show more that they dont want to help
