“Taxpayers Pay, Passengers Pray: Shocking State of Karnataka Government Buses” The condition of this North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation bus is deeply alarming and raises serious questions about passenger safety. Just by observing the bus from behind, it is clearly visible that the vehicle is moving in a zigzag manner. The bus body appears to be drifting in one direction, while the tyres seem to be moving in another. This is not a minor technical flaw it is a danger waiting to turn into a tragedy. Is this how public transport is supposed to function in Karnataka? Are passengers’ lives so cheap that such visibly unsafe vehicles are allowed to operate on public roads? One sudden brake, one sharp turn, or one pothole could result in a major accident. Hundreds of daily commuters students, workers, senior citizens are unknowingly being put at risk. How can transport officials ignore such an obvious safety hazard? Is there no routine inspection, no accountability, and no responsibility towards citizens? Or has human life become secondary to negligence, corruption, and poor governance? Citizens of Karnataka pay taxes expecting safe infrastructure and quality public services, not buses that look like they could collapse or overturn at any moment. If taxpayers’ money cannot ensure basic roadworthiness of government buses, then where exactly is that money going? This reflects a larger failure of the Government of Karnataka, particularly the transport administration under Ramalinga Reddy Grand announcements and slogans mean nothing if ground reality is this dangerous and irresponsible. Public transport is not a luxury it is a lifeline. Allowing such buses on roads is not just incompetence; it is criminal negligence. The government must stop treating safety audits as paperwork formalities and take immediate corrective action. Before another accident headline shocks the state, the authorities must answer one simple question: Are Karnataka citizens’ lives worth less than convenience and cost-cutting? Strict action, immediate inspection, and accountability are not optional they are long overdue. Karnataka State Police S. Our voices deserve to be heard - Not silenced. We, *ALL KARNATAKA STATE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION*, AKSSA OFFICIAL began a peaceful march from Dharwad to Bengaluru to protest the repeated translation errors in the KPSC exams — errors that are costing deserving candidates their future. Our protest was not just for ourselves, but for justice, transparency, corruption and accountability in our examination system. But today, as we entered Bengaluru, the *police arrested our peaceful protesters*, attempting to suppress our voices and curb our constitutional right to protest. This is not just an attack on students — it’s an attack on democracy itself. What message are they trying to send? That students don’t have the right to demand fairness? That we must stay silent in the face of injustice? Honourable Home minister Dr. G Parameshwara of Karnataka and Police Commissioner Dayanand sir should immediately take action against the police inspector N.M. Poonacha for allegedly manhandling innocent students and have Filed a FIR against 9 students who were walking peacefully. And provide justice to students and remove FIR filed on students. We will not be silenced. We will continue to raise our voice until justice is served. Brand Karnataka or Breakdown Karnataka? Shocking State of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation This is the current condition of buses in Karnataka KSRTC , and it raises serious concerns about passenger safety and accountability. Just look at the shocking state of maintenance the accelerator is being held in place with a strip of cloth tied inside the bus. The driver’s seat is in an equally alarming condition, crudely fixed with wires instead of being properly repaired or replaced. On top of that, there appears to be liquid leaking from the bus tyre area, which could indicate a serious mechanical issue. These are not minor defects they are clear signs of negligence. Is this what is being promoted as “Brand Karnataka”? Are citizens truly safe while traveling in such buses? Public transport is supposed to be reliable and secure, especially for daily commuters who depend on it. Instead, passengers are being forced to risk their lives every single day. If something unfortunate happens, who will be held responsible? It certainly won’t be the driver, who is forced to operate such poorly maintained vehicles under pressure. The responsibility lies entirely with the authorities and the government, who have failed to ensure basic safety standards. This is not just about one bus it reflects a larger issue of neglect in public transport maintenance. Immediate action, strict inspections, and accountability are the need of the hour before a preventable tragedy occurs. #bangalore #bengaluru #ksrtc #chikkamangaluru KSRTC Ramalinga Reddy Siddaramaiah DK Shivakumar Mohandas Pai S. Gang fight between two groups of youth in Bengaluru! ⚠️ A shocking street brawl between college students from Thammenahalli has come to light after CCTV footage captured the entire incident. What started as a small argument quickly turned into a violent gang fight, with several young men attacking each other in the middle of the road, creating panic and chaos among local residents.Following the incident, the Madanayakanahalli Police have registered an FIR. The case took a serious turn when a woman seen in the footage alleged that one of the men had been harassing and stalking her for nearly two years. She further stated that when she confronted him about his behavior, he, along with his friends, assaulted her, leading to the violent clash caught on camera. It’s disturbing to see how a section of today’s youth is losing direction behaving like street goons instead of responsible students. Public places are turning into battlegrounds due to such reckless and unlawful acts.Strong police action is the need of the hour. These goons must face strict punishment to set an example for others. Educational institutions and parents, too, should step in to ensure that students don’t stray into violence or harassment. Bengaluru’s streets should be for peace and progress not for fights and fear. Karnataka State Police S. Pro-Hamas protesters harass and attack female journalist in Montreal Natasha Graham (Natasha Montreal), a freelance investigative journalist, has been reporting on the anti-Israel protests taking place in Montreal. However, she has become the target of anti-Israel activists who are attempting to silence her both physically and online. Since October 7, 2023, when Hamas launched a terror attack on Israel that resulted in approximately 1,200 deaths and more than 250 people being taken hostage, Montreal has become a hub for large-scale anti-Israel protests. Some leaders of these protests, affiliated with a group called Montreal4Palestine, openly glorify figures associated with terrorist organizations, such as Yahya Sinwar (Hamas) and Hassan Nasrallah (Hezbollah). Antisemitic slogans have been chanted during these protests, and antisemitic crimes have surged in Montreal. In the year following October 7, 2023, the Montreal Police reported 212 antisemitic crimes in the city. However, political leaders seem to be treating the issue with insufficient urgency. Natasha Graham, while covering these events, has faced direct harassment from organizers and activists linked to Montreal4Palestine. On October 7, 2024, marking one year since the Hamas attack on Israel, activists gathered at Place des Arts to commemorate the anniversary. Despite her videographer being unavailable that day, Graham went alone to document the event. According to Graham, the Montreal Police suggested she stay visible by standing on a staircase in case of an incident. While she was filming, Mahmoud Khalil, one of the Montreal4Palestine organizers, began harassing her and obstructing her camera. Graham recounted being surrounded by activists and having to call 911 for assistance to safely leave the area. She has since stated that she no longer feels safe walking in downtown Montreal when these protests occur. Despite this, she remains determined, asserting her right to be in her city and to document these events. Following this incident, Natasha Graham and other accounts on X, such as Leviathan (Leviathan), have become targets of coordinated smear campaigns. Activists are reportedly using AI-generated fake accounts to mass-report their profiles, attempting to get them banned for exposing antisemitic behavior.

Encroachment Mafia Thriving: Public Rights Crushed Under Shopkeepers’ Illegal Expansion Now the city’s footpaths are turning into display zones for mannequins and boards, all because some shopkeepers feel entitled to encroach on public space. They have taken over the pedestrian pathway, placed their items right on the footpath, and even built temporary illegal structures as if the area belongs to them. And when someone asks them to remove these obstructions, they start arguing, behaving arrogantly, and shamelessly saying, “Go complain to the authorities. What kind of behaviour is this? Footpaths exist for pedestrians to walk safely not for a few irresponsible, high-handed individuals to run their business illegally. These people are not just violating rules; they are showing complete disrespect towards citizens, public property, and the law. The city cannot be held hostage by such arrogant shopkeepers who think they can do anything and get away with it. Strict action must be taken against these encroachers so that public spaces remain for the public not for these goons who misuse them for personal profit. Karnataka State Police S.
