On September 11, 2001, Brian David Sweeney was a passenger on Flight 175. This is his phone call to his wife, Julie. The airplane would later fly into the South Tower's south face from floors 77 through 85.

The part where he says "have good times" always gets me. That is a big thing with grief, feeling bad for feeling good again, and in his last moments he just wanted her and his parents to be happy again!

That "I'll see you when you get here" has haunted my imagination since the day I heard this phonecall. I hope he's right. For all of us.

The firm Cantor Fitzgerald lost 658 employees on 9/11. The CEO, who was taking his child to school that day, later distributed $180 million to the families and offered jobs to all children of the victims. 57 of those children were employed by Cantor Fitzgerald as of 2016!!!!

Tom Canavan was buried alive when the first tower fell on 9/11. He was saved from death because a large cement wall fell over him which created a safe pocket. He began crawling and digging, out of the rubble, and eventually got to safety.
