@tdsb @JillDunlop1 The school board and school "may" have been misled of what the rally/protest would actually be. But as soon as it was apparent that it was entirely focused on not what it was expected, the fieldtrip should have been immediately canceled and students returned to school.

EXPOSED: Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, Believes there’s 18 genders. Including other. So much so, they’ve surveyed kids to figure out which one they are. Parents are fed up. They complain to me, how they’re exploring homeschooling because of the constant sexuality presented to children. Yet, there’s no survey, asking parents how they feel about the education at the school board! Parents tell me they don’t like that there’s no time management skills being taught, no homework, and that the board is instead focused on sexuality, and adjusting resources based on answers to surveys with a laundry list of options for genders that most kids don’t even know exist. This has gotten out of control. This isn’t isolated to the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. This is happening throughout Canada. To the point where parents are now either exploring home schooling options, private schools or Christian schools. They pay taxes for their local schools and are fundamentally being “taxed” again by seeking alternative education, that they now have to pay with their after tax dollars. Families pay into a system they hate, and do not trust, and then paying again, to opt-out. This madness needs to stop.

Why is there a push to close Chicago Public Schools on May 1? According to the Illinois State Board of Education, only 1 in 3 CPS elementary students are proficient in reading and only 1 in 5 are proficient in math. Our kids need more time in the classroom, not less, yet Chicago parents are being asked for their kids to lose another day of school on May 1st for a political Day of Action. Parents and kids rely on schools for learning and consistency. Closing schools will send parents scrambling for babysitters or losing wages to stay home to care for their kids. For some kids, schools are where they get their meals and are the safest place they’ll be that day. As a CPS mom, I have skin in the game and expect my son to be in school where he belongs on May 1st. Keep Chicago’s students in the classroom, parents at work, and focus on the city’s test scores, not its politics. #chicago

Stafford School Board Furry Gaymers Against Trump demand sexual and gender identity be respected! continuing on with highlighting policy 2420-p in STAFFORD COUNTY SCHOOLS and how it states that no student can have their gender or sexual identity ignored, and also that the students with whatever gender/sexual identity can have equal access to programs, activities, services or benefits (this includes bathrooms) so yes, right now, legally according to Stafford's own policy manual - it states that boys can use girls bathrooms, locker rooms, and other spaces. if you talk to a teacher (off record of course, if they answer this on record they will be fired) - that when a teacher sees a boy going in a girls bathroom, they cannot even ask the student anything. they cannot stop them or impede them in any way, or they will get fired. the superintendent and board members will try to hide behind legalese and say 'that isnt happening' in stafford schools, yet many parents are posting online and confirming that it is happening in the schools. Furthermore, to really highlight the absurdity of this policy, there are FURRIES and TRANIMALS (furries are just trans animals, i call them tranimals) in the classrooms in ALL levels of schools in stafford (including elementary). since the policy says you cannot discriminate, there are students that are meowing, barking, hissing, even attempting to bite at other students, and the teachers are not allowed to do anything. Many school board members are ON RECORD saying they 'do not care what a student wears as long as they are in school'. which reinforces my previous point - that schools will lose funding if students are not in school. they only care about the money, not the quality of education your child is getting. So I dressed up as a FURRY TRANIMAL to highlight how hypocritical these people are. within 2 SECONDS of my speech, you can hear the board chair, Maureen Siegmund, saying that i had to act like a human otherwise i had to leave (because i was crawling on all 4's). why can she and teachers NOT say that SAME EXACT SENTENCE TO STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOLS??? the fact that the other school board member, Dr. Elizabeth Warner, was rolling her eyes when i asked for kitty litter boxes in bathrooms to respect the FURRY TRANIMAL gender and sexual identities, shows what a hypocrite she is. SHE IS THE SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER THAT HELPED WRITE A BRIEF BY AN LGBTQ+ ADVOCACY GROUP (Equality Virginia) TO MAKE SURE A TEACHER THAT USED THE "WRONG PRONOUNS" WOULD NOT GET HIS JOB BACK. how can she not respect MY sexual/gender identity as a FURRY TRANIMAL and not respect my ME-OW pronouns? then you have the superintendent, Daniel W Smith, Ed.D that makes public statements pretending like this isnt happening in stafford schools, when it is and parents are constantly making complaints about this.
