@tdsb @JillDunlop1 The school board and school "may" have been misled of what the rally/protest would actually be. But as soon as it was apparent that it was entirely focused on not what it was expected, the fieldtrip should have been immediately canceled and students returned to school.

EXPOSED: Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, Believes there’s 18 genders. Including other. So much so, they’ve surveyed kids to figure out which one they are. Parents are fed up. They complain to me, how they’re exploring homeschooling because of the constant sexuality presented to children. Yet, there’s no survey, asking parents how they feel about the education at the school board! Parents tell me they don’t like that there’s no time management skills being taught, no homework, and that the board is instead focused on sexuality, and adjusting resources based on answers to surveys with a laundry list of options for genders that most kids don’t even know exist. This has gotten out of control. This isn’t isolated to the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. This is happening throughout Canada. To the point where parents are now either exploring home schooling options, private schools or Christian schools. They pay taxes for their local schools and are fundamentally being “taxed” again by seeking alternative education, that they now have to pay with their after tax dollars. Families pay into a system they hate, and do not trust, and then paying again, to opt-out. This madness needs to stop.

Why is there a push to close Chicago Public Schools on May 1? According to the Illinois State Board of Education, only 1 in 3 CPS elementary students are proficient in reading and only 1 in 5 are proficient in math. Our kids need more time in the classroom, not less, yet Chicago parents are being asked for their kids to lose another day of school on May 1st for a political Day of Action. Parents and kids rely on schools for learning and consistency. Closing schools will send parents scrambling for babysitters or losing wages to stay home to care for their kids. For some kids, schools are where they get their meals and are the safest place they’ll be that day. As a CPS mom, I have skin in the game and expect my son to be in school where he belongs on May 1st. Keep Chicago’s students in the classroom, parents at work, and focus on the city’s test scores, not its politics. #chicago

I can walk into any private school in Delhi for an inspection, anytime. Every school will state it clearly on its notice board, on its website, and at any store it operates that parents are free to buy uniforms, books and stationery from anywhere. There will be no coercion, no captive buying, no single-vendor diktat. Ensure this without exception. Any violation, any manipulation, will invite the toughest action available under the law. A takeover is not beyond consideration. My inspections are not a gimmick. They are enforcement in action. They are driven by the voices of parents who have written to me, telling me where I must go next. Keep sending your suggestions. Fixing Delhi is our responsibility. My Delhi.
