Controversy was the first song I ever heard by Prince. I was twelve and it came on MTV. Mind blown , I became a lifelong PRINCE fan. He inspires my guitar playing to this day. 💜💜💜💜💜

Controversy was what got me into Prince. They showed the clip on a late music show here in Oz and I remember the following day nagging my mum to buy me the single. Never looked back.

The release, which included tracks like "Call My Name," "Cinnamon Girl," and "Life 'O' The Party," was given to concert goers who attended the performances, while the physical retail version was available in the UK on April 19th, and in the US on April 20th. "Musicology is all about music the way it used to be and it’s about getting the music to the people. That’s why everyone who comes to the show gets a copy of the record. The CD is included in the ticket price, and we’re giving out approximately 50,000 copies each week in order to keep increasing the exposure to the new album." - Prince We’ll be highlighting all 12 tracks on the album starting with the title track.
