An absolutely magnificent album

My favourite from Echo & The Bunnymen, one of my favourites of all the albums I have. Goosebumps. No dark things.

Im truly not knocking on U2,S early albums but all of Echo,s were you were not the biggest band after the Police is truly a mystery.

Superb album. Particularly love the title track. Live, it’s unbeatable. However, I bet can now afford the beer.

And what an album it is! Growing up in Liverpool we pretty much wore this out on our school record player that year. A Promise is such a great song. In 1987 I went to live in Porthcawl scene of course of the album’s artwork.
