In the video, we see #EstifanosAfwerki (also known as Bruno), the head of the EPLF northern front, speaking from behind enemy lines. He was a former member of the #EPLF Central Committee and is now the Ambassador of the State of Eritrea to #Japan. The clip illustrates how the EPLF treated Ethiopian prisoners of war by providing them with education and healthcare services. Throughout the struggle for #Eritrean independence, the EPLF captured over 130,000 #Ethiopianprisoners, including officers, pilots, and generals. All of these individuals were ultimately released and sent back to Ethiopia.
