Lol I had written a long message to thank everyone who’s been part of #PowerSportExtra for the last four years. I am super grateful for the discussions, for everyone who listened. Thank you to those who said I hate their teams (which is everyone) and still listened. Thank you to Thabiso TT Tema for always being there with advice and an ear to listen. It would have not been a super ending without this great man I admire a lot, coach Pitso Mosimane. The man who came up with The Dog That Bites. Thank you for that message and for always being so supportive. I can never show enough appreciation to you. To my brother SollyMalatsi for coming to say bye in person in studio despite your crazy schedule. To the regular callers, bo Jeff, Vusi, Thulani, Thabiso, Lehippy and many others, thank you. This is when I wish Thulani Thuswa was still here because just as he was in studio for my first official show, he would have been here for the last. But I know I made him proud. Yeah, this is a long ass message. But if I can ever say I’m not loved, I’d be lying. This has been a great ride. Loved every moment of it, and I say this with no doubt in my mind. All our operations for the morning are suspended due to the fuel shortage, however delivery is expected at 10am The first delivery at 10am will be at the C de wet depot which runs the biggest shifts of 102. It will be followed by Jan niamand Depot and then Pretoria North. This delivery will be for the full capacity and we will be back to full bus operations for the afternoon and throughout the week. My mom died 9 years ago today. Coach Brad Bigler called me and encouraged me to “Be about the things that she was about - that’s how you carry on her legacy.” She did hard things. So today, I did something hard. She would’ve been 62, so I did 62 miles on the bike. Thankful for the lessons she taught me. I miss her. If you have lost someone the anniversary of their death can be a difficult day. For nine years, I have chosen to do something on this day to honor my mom. I would encourage you to do the same.

She feels the show has become meaningless and says that whenever she used to turn it on, she thought “I’m wasting an hour of my time.” Vicki faults producers for coming in and “trying to create some crazy drama.” She believes they should be showcasing their real lives, “not being detectives on what we said and what we lied about.” She adds that the show has become stupid and hopes it can return to focusing on real issues. Not only did she forgive the soldiers who killed her son but she insisted on meeting them and to show she wasn’t mad. “He cried from the minute he saw me… for an hour he just cried and cried, and I tried to comfort him.” “I told him, we are not sitting at home just crying - we are doing things for Yotam. Watching my mom go from social butterfly to battling Alzheimer’s has been heartbreaking these last few years. Not just for me, but for my wife and my entire family. Having a caretaker in the house seven days a week, for 10 hours a day, is a lot. Your house isn't really your house. And don't get me started on the financial burden. So much credit goes to Jade for being the rock she is, to Huey and Veda being the grandkids my mom was hellbent on being present for, and my mom — for battling depression, grief, and this new reality she never asked for. But now and then, a moment happens that shows the true good in people, and this crazy ass world we live in. This is Abigail. She was my grandma and mom’s caretaker in Virginia. She sat front row at my grandma’s funeral consoling my mom and dealing with her own grief. Abigail is family. We still keep in contact. I hope we always will. Last week, she surprised my mom by coming to visit. Abigail did this because she loves my mom, and one of the last things my grandma ever said to her was, “Please take care of my little girl when I'm gone.” Abigail did that and so much more. To all the great caretakers out there, thank you. Meeting angels on Earth is a blessing. To the healthcare industry, I wish I could say the same.

This woman is being called into the HR office at work. She works for a firm that deals with clients who sometimes has to use Instacart. The issue with that is, she uses Instacart for her own personal use as well. When she was ordering for herself, she forgot to clear the company credit card info for when she was making purchases for her client. The company’s now accusing her of theft, although she claims it was an honest mistake, do you feel she should he fired if this was an honest mistake or do you think she did it because she may have been short on money?
