The stock market cratering might be the wake up call Trump needed. Everything to him is linear - lose or win. So the market dropping like a rock Friday and this morning until the Mexico delay was announced was someone finally telling him it’s a stupid idea. Maybe he’ll get it.

Biden had 2.5 months after the election to do something crazy that would force Congress to limit Presidential power. He had full immunity. He had the Project 2025 playbook and could have attempted to counteract it. Could have clarified Presidential power and succession, as well as incapacitation. Instead, they just did nothing and exited. Again, Biden could have done anything up to the hand over of power in Jan. He could have made life miserable for Republicans and they would have an emergency session to pass laws to limit Presidential power.
