1. Israel is the most religiously diverse country in the Middle East, with more than 20% of its population consisting of Muslims, Christians, and Druze. Jews are 73%. 2. Zionism is the political idea that Jews have a right to national self-determination in their historic homeland, where they have been indigenous for thousands of years. 3. For example, Jews were already the majority in Jerusalem under Muslim Ottoman rule more than 100 years ago. Long before Zionism had substantial influence on Palestine. 4. Zionism has always strived to share the land with Palestinians and thus agreed to several partition ideas, most of which were dictated by the majority population in different regions of Eretz Yisrael/Palestine. All of these ideas were rejected by Palestinians. 5. Your interview is charlatan hate speech. You are trying to delegitimize—by lying—the very existence of a state, in actual terms preaching its destruction and the mass death of its citizens.

Excellent speech by Dr. Jill as usual Zionism is not Judaism

Zionism is the movement for the self-determination and statehood for the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, the land of Israel. Zionism & Judaism are inextricably linked. E.g. The prayer of Shema or the direction Jews pray towards every single day. Also what she says about it being a peaceful place before the state of Israel is mistaken. E.g. Hebron massacre 1929.

Then how are 2 million arabs in Israel?

One of the biggest and lesser known stories of Zionism is that the lands allocated to a Jewish state (two color map) were essentially those the Zionists reclaimed from malaria through land purchase, science and education (blue map). Moreover, the sudden and extremely rapid increase of the Arab population in the 1920’s and 1930’s in this barely populated backwater region (this was the highest population increase rate in the world in 1931/2) was only in part due to immigration spurred by Zionist development of the land. The major share of the massive Arab population increase was thanks to Malaria eradication, which was the work of the Galician born famed microbiologist and ardent Zionist Dr. Israel Kligler (credit to the great historical work of Anton Alexander). With this knowledge it remains even a greater tragedy that the now much more numerous Arabs of the land directed their efforts towards brutally fighting Zionism rather than choosing to live side by side with an emerging Jewish state. In the shadow of the Oct 7 massacre we mark once more the Nov 29 moment when the Jews said yes to the UNGA plan of partition (having prioritized having a state, even if tiny and mostly desert and lands reclaimed from malaria and no Zion and no Judea) and the Arabs said no and proceeded to wage a brutal war to the present day (having prioritized - still - the goal of the Jews not having a state at all and of any size). (Note on map titles: for twenty centuries, before a camoaign of denial was underway, it was well understood that the name “Palestine” merely denoted the geographic region where the Land of Israel was and was therefore deeply associated with Jews and the their continuous connection to the land. Hence the League of Nation in establishing the mandate recognized the “historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine" as the "grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country” and which is why the Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra of Jewish musicians became the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra…)

Jill Stein's remarks are a masterclass in duplicity, brimming with baseless assertions and twisted facts. She audaciously crafts alternate realities, while audaciously positioning herself as a voice for the global Jewish community—a role she is grotesquely unqualified to claim. Clearly, in a void where truth should reside, Jill Stein thrives as a purveyor of falsehoods, cynically manipulating narratives to prop up her political ambitions, ruthlessly trading the well-being of Israel and Jews worldwide for her own gain.

Love @DrJillStein and definitely voting for her Inshallah. Challenging Zionism DOES NOT necessarily mean eradicating Jews and that false belief is the crux of the challenge to finding a solution. To me, discussing Zionism and how it frames the dialogue on what is a peaceful resolution is the key to finding a lasting solution.
