Increase in alcohol price from 160 to 190 will not effect prices of other commodities but increase in price of petrol or diesel will increase transport cost and increase in transport cost will lead to increase in price of other commodities.

Leave everything aside, Labourers spend a significant amount on Khaini, gutka, tobacco. I was travelling in general class and everyone spent 200-300+ on gutka in a span of 22 hours. I asked if they eat like this daily and they said yes. That is 6k on gutka alone.
