Once again Elon is lying about Tesla self-driving. FSD does not respond to hand signals, we tested it 14.2.2.5 and FSD ignored every hand signal we gave it. Not even Tesla's sole robotaxi responds to hand signals (see link in reply)

Tesla FSD 12.3.6 Recognizing Hand Signals?! Is FSD 12 finally recognizing hand held stop signs and hand signals given by roadway workers? I tested this in an actual functioning construction zone with traffic being diverted wrong way and witnessed some impressive results! What are your thoughts on this?

FSD is superhuman. I’m taking the highway exit and a truck is blocking the road. FSD signals and starts to overtake… until the truck suddenly pulls away again. FSD stays neatly behind it and sees a worker jump out. Before the truck has even come to a complete stop, FSD signals again and overtakes it. Incredible, how is this even possible?! 🤯

It’s wild how legacy media seizes every opportunity to spin a negative narrative about Tesla Full Self-Driving. Even when they know the facts are not true. It’s sad to me. This technology literally saves countless human lives (even animals lives) everyday. Every single person that I’ve ever shown FSD to says it’s amazing. First hand experiences shield you from the blatant lies. We are truly lucky to live in a time where we have access to the most incredible technologies. Everyday I use Tesla FSD, I’m absolutely amazed. If you haven’t tried it yet, you must. If you are a Tesla owner who has access to it, USE IT. It can save your life.

Breadcrumbs of Banish appear to be in the latest Actually Smart Summon release. My Model 3 parked itself on ASS (FSD v14.3.2) after I blocked the road and used hand signals to direct it into a parking spot (target was on opposite side of the building). I've never seen it do this before. It didn't just pull in across the lines, it parked near-perfectly like it does on FSD. Worked with my Model 3 and TeslaFSD - Dave's Model Y on first attempt. Of course when I brought out the camera it took like 7 tries, but it eventually did it again! Not enough data to conclude if it's actually listening to my hand signals, or just giving up and deciding to park instead of block the road. Would be interesting to see if other people can try and replicate this. Everything is there for Banish to work, just comes down to Tesla feeling comfortable enough to let it go unsupervised in parking lots.

Look at his statements about past versions of FSD and you'll see it has been the same tired lie for years. Tesla is still nowhere close to solving unsupervised FSD and Omar knows it. Then, as we get closer, the bus starts pulling out, and FSD quickly anticipates that it will encroach into our lane, so it safely brakes to let it in. Smooth operator.

This Chinese vlogger is both Tesla and XPeng owner. He is an avid tester of Tesla FSD and Xpeng NGP. He points out NGP almost always comes to an abrupt halt when humans or mopeds get real close or cross intersections as evidenced in this clip, even though there is ample time to gradually slow down, making driving extremely uncomfortable. This is not an isolated case. It exists with other XPeng owners. On the other hand, the owner says FSD is very reassuring and predictable. Other systems may have a fewer takeover rates than FSD for now but he still prefers FSD because of its driving comfort, smoothness and confidence.
