This woman pulled up to her local Popeyes chicken, right before she was about to order, a homeless man approached her and asked her to please buy him some food. She agreed to do so and the workers refused to take the order once she told them what she was doing. She then asked for a manager and she was upset about being recorded and refused to talk to her and walked away. Do you think the homeless man harasses the customers and workers and that’s why they won’t take his order?

She is celebrating and terrified at the same time, because her family is still inside Iran. In particular, one line rings loudly: "Removing terrorists is not a tragedy. It is a sign of justice." Back then, she held hopes, she knew she wanted him, yet she fought against it, honoring their boundaries and respecting his commitments. She never intended to risk disturbing his life, though being so close to him made it almost unbearable. Each day, she wrestled with her feelings, hiding them, convincing herself to accept the reality of losing him - a reality she had tried to embrace long ago, but it was only a lie she told herself. Her hesitation didn’t come from doubt in her own heart, but from uncertainty about his. She wasn’t ready to face his rejection or the finality of losing him. She didn’t want to misuse his kindness or place him in a position of impossible choice. To be just an option, when she once thought she was everything, was a pain she hadn’t prepared for. Now, he extends his hand to her again, this time the one with a ring on it. For her, that changes everything. Their feelings are no longer hidden, and she knows she can no longer accept just his kindness. She had never wanted to intrude, to become a third presence complicating his life. Ferit asked her, “How do I know you won’t leave me again after a month?” - it was his fear and the uncertainty about her feelings and commitment for him that paralysed him, even though deep down he always knew the truth but he needed reassurance.
