Abusing the power of being a flight attendant. A non threatening action should never be a reason to de-board anyone. We need serious well educated staff in such positions rather than stubborn high school dropouts.

When stupid rules meet a stubborn person. This is also how those dumb rules get changed. Who knows what kind of issues this caused everyone on the plane. Any serious person who realized this was all about a pillow, they could hold the airlines responsible and sue them. Like he said, he's used it 50x, and these are the same airlines that are looking for any way possible to cram you in and offer less for the last 50 years.

When you are on a plane you must listen to the crew. It’s that simple. If you can’t follow their instructions in a non emergency situation you be come a liability if there is ever an emergency. How do people not see that.

Simply put, if you are a passenger on a plane you have to be able to follow instructions. If you can’t follow instructions you are a liability to everyone else on that plane, you got to go.

This is like being non-compliant to a police officer and then the moment they decided to arrest you, you become compliant. The decision was already made. You cannot talk yourself out of it at that point, it's too late.

Normally I’m on the airlines side in these things, but in this video he states he’s holding the pillow in his hand and you can’t see it behind his neck. If he complied with the order to remove the pillow from the seat, why is there still an issue?

If a simple instruction cant be followed, who’s to say that he will follow any instructions mid air? If you have been asked politely to follow rules and you resist, its for everyone’s safety that you either deplane or everybodys getting off.

I am cracking up at him inconveniencing everyone to still end up kicked off the flight. I was on a redeye and we weren’t at a hub. Someone shoved the male flight attendant and we didn’t leave until the morning. Just listen to the crew so we can get where we’re going.

Nope. Once a passenger has shown beligerance to a flight crew member they must be removed. The crew member doesn't need to be distracted during the flight fearing for their safety thus compromising the safety of the plane as a whole. I hate it but its the big picture that matters

A$$hole. On an airplane you do exactly what is commanded by the flight staff. No ifs, ands, buts or backtalk. And once it reaches the point of "you must leave the plane....", it's all over. You are not going to remain on that flight, no matter how much you plead or whine at that point. Zero tolerance, and I support this 100% percent. On that plane, you do as you are 'effin told.
