Why on earth was this not the show?! I already laughed more here than a single episode of the series. Kion feels much more like a distinct character than just a gender swapped Kiara and Bunga is actually tolerable. What the heck Disney!

Man Bunga and Kion being best friends that kinda hate each other but still gotta save the Pride Lands. Man we missed out

@ArzzielMarcena You know that the show was originally not gonna be made for Disney Jr. right? This honestly feels like it was originally meant as a gag driven comedy show aiming towards the 6 to 11 year old crowd.

They ended up making bunga annoying and a fart joke after this 😭

I know this is a test animation…but…why does Kion look and sound like he’s been through a lot for a lion cub? And where are Bunga’s ears!?

We were robbed. I am curious if this was for a more older audience and for Disney Channel not Disney Jr. Also would there be a chance of the 3rd Season being more of a darker arc than what we saw.

This animation is countless times better. I don't like that Bunga; Being fearless is much more fitting for a honey badger. I like that Kion much much more, he actually carries Simba's genes. Humor is very Lion King-ish.

This could've been a really nice show for kids.

The one we had was good in its own right, my younger siblings loved it. But I wouldn’t have minded if we had this animation and gag driven comedy instead.
