Ironically, a m@d man called Ayade happened to Cross River State. Aude destroyed everything. Calabar was the only state capital with well treated water running into hone via the Cross River State Water Board. Ayade destroyed it. Ayade destroyed the Water Board. All he was interested in was the large undeveloped land mass belonging to the corporation. He shared the Water Board land between himself, his brother, and other cronies. Due to excessive logging activities of Chinese within the forests of Cross River State, Donald Duke placed a ban on logging in the state. Ayade came on board with a fraudulent superhighway and restarted logging in Cross River State. There's nothing Ayade didn't destroy. What about cleanliness in Calabar and other urban centres within Cross River. Ayade reversed everything. He stopped the salaries of the CUDA (Cross River Urban Development Authority) workers and left the entire state in ruin. The whole state turned into an urban refuse site. I can go on and on. He quietly left PDP during his early days and joined the APC so he could loot Cross River State in peace. This same Ayade is from the Obudu's. Donald Duke, who's from the southern part of CRS, created all these tourism investments in Obudu, but an Obudu came and literally destroyed the lifeline of the Obudu people. Ayade should be in jail for the remaining days of his life. But this is Nigeria!

When I was there in 2017 with my friends, this place was still valid. We had breakfasts at the international bar/restaurant. The presidential suite looked habitable. This is evidence of how low Nigeria fell in 10years.

Nothing the government ever builds survive, even during their tenure. It only survives when the government brings in the private sector to have a majority share. That was the mistake Donald Duke made with that investment. Could have become the major singular revenue generator for the state.

Govt has no business in doing business Thru should’ve attracted private investors to take over this place and make it a profitable venture Should still be running now
