Natural gas was supposed to be the safe bet. Abundant, scalable, reliable enough to power entire economies. LNG became the backbone for countries without their own supply. But the war exposed the flaw: supply isn’t the issue, access is. A single strike on key infrastructure can disrupt flows that whole regions depend on: especially when around 20% of global LNG passes through the Strait of Hormuz. Now countries are scrambling, because they can’t guarantee they’ll get it. Bloomberg YT
