One of my most favorite anime and I couldn't recommend it more if you're cool with a slow burn. It's hard to talk about Gungrave because 90% of the appeal to me is in the more somber writing rather than the crazy action, which is still cool, but isn't really what got me to stay.

i don’t know how to put this into words but i just love that shane doesn’t reassure yuna here or tell her it was okay. ‘i forgive you’ is so powerful on its own and it shows that this moment is truly for shane and no one else. one of the best coming out scenes i’ve ever seen.

BXP -1 I just finished school and this is my showcase. For the 3 years I’ve been here, I’ve done a total of 14 works. All of which involved heavy dramaturgy, adaptations, direction, design, analysis, cultural anthropology, an hour presentation every Monday and then half scale dressmaking. Most of which culminated into books and articles (getting published, negotiating contracts). Out of the 14 I put up 6. Some my best work, others because it was different. One day I will talk about what Tisch has done for me. And every morning I have to remind myself that I deserve it. For now, this is a snippet. I can expand each work and talk about it.

We really don’t talk enough about how terrifying Darth Vader’s introduction was in the third episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Despite being one of the most iconic and intimidating villains in cinematic history, seeing Vader mercilessly take out someone without even igniting his lightsaber is easily one of the darkest moments I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars project. We’d never seen this character quite this angry before, and this scene is as chilling to watch as it is just outright horrifying.
