heavier white male cop is the one who shot. looks like it escalated seconds before the gun was used because the idiot pulled a knife. the other police officers were still in h2h with him. the popo that shot was probably a vet made the right decision. In a situation like that you cannot get distance to reset and protect your other officers a gun to the face is the only option. the good guys went home to their families that night.
