One more fascinating detail shared by Kavignar Vaali, this time about how Maestro used a particular raga, rarely used in movies, for the composition of “Chinna Kannan Azhaikkiraan...” ❤️ #Ilaiyaraaja #Vaali

A glimpse of Ilaiyaraaja and Vaali discussing the composition of "காற்றில் வரும் கீதமே"... Watching these two legends discuss the music and words behind this melody is such a wonderful peek into the creative process.❤️🤌 #Ilaiyaraaja #Vaali

They have a robot for everything in China. This one in particular, levels the grains stored in silos. Leveling means more can be stored, it used to be done by hand with shovels.

I found this song called Vey Vey from the film Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnulu, and the electro-funk composition by #Ilaiyaraaja is incredible. However, #Kamalhassan's high-pitched voice elevated this song. But I am a little surprised that Raja sir used SPB in the Tamil version.

BREAKING: President Trump blatantly lies about the insurrection act: “The Insurrection Act which has been used by 48% of the presidents, as of this moment. The elder President George HW Bush. He used it I think 28 times.” The insurrection act has only been used by approximately 22% of the presidents and had only been used by George HW Bush one time. Before him it hadn't been used since Lyndon B. Johnson in 1968.

Dunno about those stills, but this scene from Ray's Charulata (1964) was remarkable for its time. Used a first person "Go-Pro" style shot rarely seen in cinema back then.

Fun detail in Dune: The first time a male choir is used in the score is soon after Paul drinks the Water of Life, where he connects the Bene Gesserit to the male side of the genetic memory. Just beautiful stuff happening on every level in these movies.

Used to cover this song back in the early days. RIP to one of the greatest country music songwriters of all time. You’ll be missed, Toby Keith. ❤️

AOC: The pharmaceutical company AbbVie used this strategy with its drug Humira, which is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis. By barely changing the product, they obtained more than 130 patents that gave them continued exclusive market control over rheumatoid arthritis treatments. During that time, the price of Humira went from $500 per syringe to nearly $3,000 per syringe, leading to a cost of about $80,000 for a one-year supply for a patient.

Hello Internet, I built this app over the weekend with one goal in mind. To help you find a time for everyone? Think Study groups, Meetups and much more. Stack used: React for the frontend Google firebase for the backend. Here's a demo on how it works, this is version 1 (more updates coming!)

2007. Bernie Sanders details how the H-1B visa program is being used to replace American workers with less expensive, foreign workers. Some of the data is pretty interesting, including the list of jobs that these visas were used for. Bernie reads the list in this video. Americans were being replaced across dozens of industries. Even twenty years ago, this had been going on for a long time. For all his craziness, Bernie did used to advocate often for the American worker. It's one of the reasons why he was so popular in 2016. Unfortunately now he spends his time ranting about fascism, oligarchies, and climate catastrophe.

We occasionally like to do a couple of a cappella choruses at the end of This is How it Feels and the Tramlines crowd certainly didn’t disappoint by joining in. Beautiful ❤️ No autotune was used in this recording 😉

Thank you so much for sharing this🙏 One of those rare concert videos where Ilaiyaraaja sings “Ilamai Ennum Poongaatru” - a song beautifully immortalised by SPB. ❤️ After singing it, Maestro says: “இதை SPB ரொம்ப நல்லா பாடியிருப்பார். நான் பாடி கெடுத்துட்டேனானு தெரியல. 😄 ஆனா அவருக்கு நான்தானே இப்படிச் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்து பாட வச்சேன்… அதுக்காக கொஞ்சம் பொறுத்துக்கோங்க!” 😂 That self-deprecating humour! Love and love only to Maestro..😍🤌 #Ilaiyaraaja #SPB
