With how amazing Tesla FSD has become, I’m at the point now where I actually prefer to drive rather than fly in most cases. FSD allows you to travel cover an incredible amount of distance without any major fatigue since the car handles 100% of the driving, charging, and parking. It also makes the trips so much more fun and rewarding. People always ask, don’t you get bored? Part of the reason IT people are being laid off is that many of their abilities can be replaced by AI. In the past, the joke was that you would just google it, but that still required some IT knowledge. Now, you can ask AI how to fix an issue and it will walk you through how to fix most things. (if you have admin permissions to your computer) To be fair, no one knows all the weird nuances and issues that can arise with software so google has always been used to find IT fixes - but it took more research and knowing how to implement the fix before.

The invisible cost to every Robinhood $HOOD trade you make - their trades are not free! - "Robinhood trades are not free" - "When you pay for order flow, you're probably charging your customers more, and pretending to be free" - "It's a very dishonourable, low grade way to talk" - "Nobody should believe Robinhood's trades are free" Translation: Robinhood doesn’t charge commissions, but it makes money by selling your trades to market makers i.e. “payment for order flow”. Instead, when you click Buy, Robinhood sells your order to a big trading firm (Citadel etc). That firm executes it and pays Robinhood for sending the order. Example: - If the best price in the market is $10.00, but you get filled at $10.02, that 2 cents difference looks tiny… but over thousands of trades and millions of users, that’s real money. - You didn’t pay a commission, but you still paid in the form of a slightly higher price! You feel like it’s free, but you get slightly worse prices on every trade! That cost is invisible - but you're still paying it! In addition: Those firms (Citadel etc.) also get visibility into retail order flow. They see what millions of small traders are doing and can position themselves more effectively to profit from you!!! Can you manage every aspect of your life for the first time by yourself, before you even throw in the rigors and demands of a sport? 4. Can you survive in an environment where you are defined by your sport and have very little social life existence outside of athletic and academic obligations? 5. Can you handle the mental challenge of going from the super star to possibly bottom of the roster, sitting on the bench, and/or not traveling with the team? 6. Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Good morning Oscar; I’ve been pondering on how to respond to these screenshots without context and eh; I am totally out of words. 1. Crown has been in school for EIGHT terms, you have paid for two and mostly on condition that you know where I stay, or act positive to your sexual advances or other random that fit your narrative then. Refusing to comply would mean no support. And that I was totally okay without financial support from you. 2. Don’t lie on my dad’s name like that. You almost broke my little brother’s hand fighting for crown in front of both of them. You have insulted my parents to their faces more than once and you are shocked that my dad isn’t besties with you. 3. Oscar, you paid that 1.2M after not talking to your child for a year. How are you shocked that she was in a different school and her school fees paid???? You sat in that meeting and said you are comfortable with crown in fort portal, she went to fort portal and then you got angry???😂😂 4. You can’t do the bare minimum like ask about your child’s school. You know crowns school, if you were intentional; you’d know that it is among the TOP THREE schools in fort portal. You can’t fail to consistently pay 1.2M for school fees, then refuse to pay 850,000 and then fight to pay 2.5M. How does that make sense??? 5. You have both my dad’s numbers, mom’s numbers, grand mom, aunty, twin brother. My dad told you, his home is ALWAYS open for you to visit your child. If you wanted to see your child, you would, but of course, please use me as your excuse. My family called for a meeting, you sat and agreed to terms that you couldn’t comply to thereafter and somehow I am to blame for your deadbeat tendencies?? 6. You want to have “full access” but won’t do the bare minimum to achieve that. You are angry that you showed up to my house at 10PM and no one opened? You are angry that you said “I love when you are sweet to me” because I was polite and I blue ticked you???? You are mad because I said crown needed consistency?? Be for real! 7. Crown used to call you, and you wouldn’t pick, she would reach out and never hear from you, you made crown pack a suitcase twice and wouldn’t show up and communicate. I don’t have to tell your child one single thing about you, never have, to her, you are a good person, she will make prayers for you, and ask God that one day you’ll call her, and yet, you never do that. 8. When I was still staying with crown, I welcomed you into my home, I even told you, I’ll make sure I’m not in the house when you are visiting and will come back after crowns sleeping hours. Just go, bond and do homework, put her to bed. You did that for three weeks, you then started showing up late in the night, not doing the homework, and being sexual. 9. YOU ARE A DEADBEAT FATHER!!!! The worst kind actually because you even have the audacity to try and make it look okay. I won’t be doing a back and forth with you, you are a very bad person. And No, I’m not happy that my child isn’t without her biological dad, but I’ll say this again, she is GOOD!!!! I work hard for that reason. My parents numbers will always be available if you want to visit or see her, you know my home where she is. Gated societies are not India's future. Townships are. Think about why gated societies became so popular in the first place. It was never just about security. People wanted good roads, proper footpaths, parks, greenery, cleanliness... basically a place where they could step out without having to deal with the everyday problems outside. But even the best gated society has one problem. The moment you step outside, you're back to reality. You still have to go to work. Your kids have to go to school. You have to visit hospitals, restaurants, shopping areas and a hundred other places. And you have to navigate the bad traffic, dirty roads, potholes on roads, etc. That's where I think townships come in. I recently visited Bhartiya City in North Bangalore. It's spread across 125 acres and has residential societies, offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, parks... almost everything you need. The roads, footpaths, greenery and public spaces are all maintained by the private developer. You're no longer buying just a flat, but buying an entire environment/ecosystem. And this is happening because people have slowly stopped expecting good public infrastructure from the government. They'd rather pay a private developer to build and maintain it. First we paid extra for a gated society. Now we're paying for an entire town. Think about how crazy that is. People pay so much in taxes, yet they still feel the need to pay again for good roads, parks, footpaths, cleanliness and basic civic infrastructure because they don't expect to get it outside. People are trying to escape the problems of India... while still living in India. I genuinely think this is where Indian real estate is headed. More townships. More self-contained ecosystems. More people choosing to live inside these bubbles because that's where they find the quality of life they're looking for.
