Does anyone seriously think Albo ran in 2022 promising the levels of control, spending and migration settings Labor has since delivered? Of course not, he'd have been unelectable. One Nation's actual platform is already the strongest restrictionist position in federal politics right now, far tougher than Libs or Labor have ever seriously offered. It caps visas at ~130,000 per year while closing key loopholes - sending student visa backdoors to permanent residency or low-wage labour exploitation, stopping skilled visa rorting that undercuts Aussie workers, reintroducing Temporary Protection Visas to block bogus claims and deter illegal arrivals, withdrawing from the UN Refugee Convention to stop exploitable asylum abuses, preventing endless weaponised appeals in the Administrative Review Tribunal that delay deportations, deporting any visa holder who breaks the law, and deporting the 75,000+ illegal migrants already here. Voting for them isn't about blind 100% agreement on every point; it's about finally giving a minor party real leverage to crack the duopoly and force the Overton window rightward on immigration. That's how change actually starts in this system. Dismissing the one party that's consistently delivered on its core promise (and is surging in polls for it) because it hasn't pledged full remigration yet feels a bit like purity-testing ourselves out of any practical progress.

Literally 95% of everything you said, can be said for Liberal and Labour. Both of them do the same thing, leave us with no voice, lie to us constantly, and any nationalist movement gets slandered as "Nazi's" by the twin Left wing Lib and Labour. Still better than what we have.

There’s two problems with your story. A few but I’ll focus on two. She not charismatic in fact she was very much a laughing stock. Her core message we all considered repugnant. She was mythologised she was demonised. Until her core message started to be proven true. Secondly no party that was new came in ready to rock and they make mistakes.
