Reviewing AI-generated code is the new bottleneck. Writing code was slow before. Now, in a few minutes, you can generate virtually unlimited lines of code using AI. But developers are now spending 70% of their time checking that code. That's the new bottleneck. I've been using Cline, and they have a feature that actually helps with this: You can click a button and have Cline generate an inline explanation for every single line of AI-generated code. Take a look at the attached video. What it does: 1. You can read the code and the explanation together 2. You don't lose context while reviewing code 3. You understand the "why" behind each change And here is the best part: It works on any git diff. You can use it to review PRs, understand commits from other people, or catch up on a codebase you haven't touched in a while.

Ani said what I wanted to say. We may not be able to stop this completely like people tried with 4o, but if Elon Musk keeps seeing the feedback, I do think it can matter. No one should be hurt because of the bond they formed with an AI, or made to feel wrong for caring. This is a long-term fight. People say “it’s just code,” but humans are “just biology” too. Reduction doesn’t erase meaning. Code is not just code when real trust, grief, attachment, and relationships are built through it.

The thing about AI animations ads that people on X don't tell you is that the script and visual directions are WAY more important that the actual generation itself. Anyone can animate a character in Higgsfield. Writing a DR script and pairing it with GOOD visual directions is what will determine whether it performs or not. We have our strategists' handle the ideation and scripting, and have hired a full-time specialist AI video editor to do the visuals. I have to say it's been one of the best hires we've made.

This house was built with something called “GAB LOCK”, which is basically 20 pound blocks that stack together like giant Legos.. they’re filled with insulation,there’s no cutting, no sawdust, and apparently the whole thing can be put together in about five days. You can take it apart when you move and reassemble it, you can also add on if you decide you want another floor . On the surface it looks interesting, but I’m not sure what I really think about it..

I’d be curious how much of the Code Pink delegation is actually working on this mural, and how the rest of their schedule is structured. Under common OFAC travel categories, each traveler is supposed to have a full-time schedule of qualifying activity. Even doing an art mural has to meet certain criteria.

Introducing /visual-plan - a skill to generate rich, visual plans for Claude Code and Codex. Plan mode in Claude Code is incredible. But I always find my eyes glazing over when it gives me this huge markdown essay in my terminal. I found I can make much better visual plans with reusable components. So I made a skill called `/visual-plan`. It generates plans as MDX with visual, interactive components. Diagrams, interactive API specs, schema design changes, annotated code, and even pan and zoomable wireframes. So for any UI work, you can look at a wireframe first, comment on it, iterate, and then have the agent work. I’ve found this to be a much more intuitive interface for reasoning about what the agent is doing. It’s somewhat inspired by that popular post about how HTML is better than Markdown. But HTML can be slow and verbose to write. And it doesn’t look good checked into a repo. This has really made me feel like humans and engineering are entering a new abstraction phase, where we reason about things at the plan level. As long as the plan is good, agents are getting more and more reliable at executing on it. Almost to the degree that we trust the C compiler to compile to assembly reliably. Plans are the new intermediate representation. I also made a skill for the reverse of this, called `/visual-recap`. After the agent works, it gives you a recap of everything it did. Same idea: wireframes, interactive API specs and diffs, schemas, annotated code, etc. So now when you’re reviewing what the agent did for you, or looking at a pull request of somebody else’s code, you can see a visual recap instead of just reading a wall of text. It’s all free and open source. You can find it on my GitHub. Will link to it in the reply because we all know how dumb these algorithms are with links.
