Of course! When I get lost in the wild I am always carrying a knife, a hand saw, a tarp, an acrylic window , wire, a wire cutter, a shovel and a plastic bottle 🙄

and when it rains it becomes an indoor swimming pool. If i'm doing a bush hut i'm off the ground

When I saw the incorrect layering of the tarps I immediately disregarded the rest of the video.

This is what my grandpa built in west siberia/east Kazakhstan after arriving there from the work camps after World War 2. He and my grandma were destitute with a 3 months winter arriving with average temperatures of =20 degrees celsius.. ( lowest =45 at least for a week or so ), and this was their house for the first 2 years until he gathered enough materials to buildd a proper house.

The Boy Scouts used to teach these skills
