He was the greatest performer ever. I was a 9 year old kid, hanging onto the railing of the seats in a Jackson, MS, coliseum. I was mesmerized by his performance. My mom loved him and took my sister and I with the ladies and daughters of our neighborhood. It was amazing. The best concert I’ve ever been to.

In my opinion the greatest, he’s the benchmark for all other performers. As a singer he’s unmatched, only Jagger comes close as a performer, only George Michael does as a singer. He’s simply the best of all time in my opinion.
