I still have an old school glass lined coffee maker from the 1960s, works great.

Are there studies to show how much micro plastic is in a cup of coffee made from a plastic coffee maker? I find it hard to believe that this is a major source of microplastics. We are swimming in microplastics.

Why not all metal French press lol glass is way too dangerous I drop that thing a lot

TIL there is now a glass Aeropress. Christmas listed!

'Presto Stainless-Steel Electric Coffee Percolator' has no plastic touching coffee. Coffee like your grandma made, before plastics. Have used for over a decade. Just can't get where cord connects to make wet when cleaning, ever. We learned after rusting out first one.

Non filtered coffees, like French press and moka pots leave oils from the coffee beans that can raise LDL cholesterol. Something to be aware of for people with high cholesterol. Chemex or pour over seems to be the most cost efficient for filtered coffee.

Please keep this content and recommendations on products, materials etc that we can use, thank you Rhonda

No plastic coffee pot.
