My Dad was a Letter Carrier. At one of his stops, the lady had a little dog that she would let out to greet him. She told him to give the dog a piece of "junk mail" to bring back to her. This went on for years until one day he did not have a piece of junk mail. When my Dad told her, she said, No, no don't give him any first class! So he didn't and the Dog promptly bit him!!😀True story!
