Especially beginner artists, be careful with which tutorial you follow. A lot of them are overly idealised/stylized and they disregard actual human anatomy/ethnic features.

Don't even trust the biggest youtube artists. This tutorial was from one of the biggest artists on youtube. It's full of misinformation, not to mention that it's offensive as hell.

I'm sorry but "this is about anime style!" doesn't cut it. 1) Having an anime style doesn't mean that you cannot draw more protruding chins 2) She "fixed" someone's art like that although they didn't have an anime style 3) NEVER call someone a gorilla over their features

Btw I never meant for this post to be a bullying fest, I simply wanted to warn y'all 🕴I normally get 10-20 likes on my posts so I had not expected such a huge exposure with this one. Regardless, I hope more beginner artists see this and be aware of such harmful tutorials!

I just hope that she addresses this issue and improves herself. She's hurting many young/beginner artists. I don't think that she meant to be racist but it reads as such. Many peoppe are offended, so that should say something.

Ok lads so apparently she edited that part out ıf the video but I feel like she still needs to address it. Many people have already seen that video and they've all been misinformed. Currently, it just seems like an effort to "get rid of the evidence"

Look y'all, I used to be subscribed to her and I didn't mind her. It was also not my intention to stir "drama". All I want is for her to address this issue, apologise, inform her fans ab how wrong her tips were and improve herself.

If you've noticed, I hadn't even called her out with her name exposed. I simply wanted to warn some people on the dangers of fully trusting youtubers. I didn't make the og tweet to bully an artist. I just wanted very wrong messages to be fixed. Please don't defend them.

She knows that she fucked up with the gorilla comment, which is why she edited that part out of the video. If even she knows that she did smt wrong, why are YOU defending it?

Update: After 1 week of silence, she has posted a story on her ig which was completely unrelated to this issue so yea it seems like she's trying to sweep it under the rug bc she still has clout. Being this clout-oriented is insane.

She clearly doesn't care about all the harm that she has done and all the people that she has offended. I'm pretty sure that if suddenly she lost a lot of followers she'd be quick to address the issue bc she'd only be upset that she lost her clout.

I have zero respect left for her now. She's trying to get away with her disgusting actions isntead of acknowledging and fixing them. Not even a single apology.
