So two bits of 20mph. Six which aren't. So without the 20mph it was 6 changes in a 2 mile stretch. The 20 zones hardly made a difference to what was already a lot of different speeds. Irrelevant non news

Disgraceful Tory bias from BBC … should be reported to Ofcom … Road speed limits are NOT there for drivers, they’re there for residents, pedestrians and other users. Cars/speed kills - so many people are not the amazing driver they think they are!

What? You mean the speed limit actually changes according to the surroundings? What an amazing idea! So why did @AndrewRTDavies say it's a 'blanket' 20mph speed limit across Wales...? 🤔

This is a Reform candidate in Wales talking about scrapping the default 20mph limit. It probably didn't help her case that she was talking in front of a 50mph sign... There is an important conversation to have about 20mph. While it can be frustrating to drive slowly the data suggests that the policy has already paid for itself many times over in terms of savings for the taxpayer.
