Dispensationalists for 80 straight years, complete with New York Times bestseller books, Hollywood movies, million dollar conferences, and seminary materials: "The third temple will be rebuilt soon! We see the final pieces of the puzzle being put into place right now!"

Everything for the 3rd Temple is 100 percent done and ready to go, new born red heifers were born in Israel for future sacrifices after the first red heifer sacrificed last year. We are so extremely close, very exciting times.

I'd support their building a new temple, but that is bound to enflame nearby Muslim nations and terrorist groups.

Now, what you call "The Third Temple" in Ezekiel, is not even in Jerusalem. Read again, it's OUTSIDE the city. Even more, by the description of the healing waters flowing from it, we'll see that Temple when there's a New Heaven and a New Earth. Only God can create those waters.

NO THIRD TEMPLE REQUIRED For many Christians, a rebuilt Third Temple has become an unquestioned prerequisite for Christ’s return: the Temple is rebuilt, sacrifices resume, the Antichrist enters it, stops the sacrifices and declares himself to be God. The present fascination with red heifers is part of the same scenario, since Numbers 19 required their ashes for ritual purification, and modern Temple activists openly connect them with restoring Temple worship. But does the New Testament actually say that any of this must happen before the Parousia? The principal text is 2 Thessalonians 2:3–4, where the Man of Lawlessness “sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” Because no Jewish Temple now exists, many assume that one must be rebuilt. Yet Paul says nothing about rebuilding, Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, renewed sacrifices, a Levitical priesthood or red heifers. More importantly, the Greek word Paul uses is naos, not hieron. Hieron normally describes the wider physical Temple precinct; naos means the sanctuary or dwelling place of God. Paul repeatedly uses naos for God’s people: “Ye are the temple of God, and…the Spirit of God dwelleth in you” (1 Corinthians 3:16). “The temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3:17). “Ye are the temple of the living God” (2 Corinthians 6:16). Believers are also “builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:21–22). This does not prove that naos in 2 Thessalonians must mean the Church; naos can describe a literal sanctuary. But it does prove that the verse does not require a rebuilt Third Temple. The familiar prophecy chart depends upon an interpretation, not an explicit biblical statement. Paul’s emphasis is not architecture but apostasy, usurpation and satanic counterfeit. The Man of Lawlessness exalts himself into the place belonging to God, comes “after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,” deceives those who refuse the truth, and is finally destroyed by Christ “with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8–10). Daniel, Matthew 24 and Revelation 11 are commonly added to the argument, but none explicitly states that a Third Temple will be built on the Temple Mount immediately before Christ returns. That sequence is constructed by combining passages through a particular prophetic framework. Nor are red heifers a Christian prophetic prerequisite. Hebrews 9:13–14 directly contrasts “the ashes of an heifer” with the infinitely greater cleansing accomplished through “the blood of Christ.” The red heifer belonged to the shadows of the Mosaic order; Christ is their fulfilment. Temple activists may genuinely intend to restore sacrifices, but their preparations do not control God’s prophetic timetable. On the chronology argued here, pointing towards the Parousia around AD 2030, there is therefore no biblical need to squeeze the construction of a vast Temple, restoration of sacrifices, sacrifice of a red heifer, purification of priests and subsequent desecration of the sanctuary into the few remaining years. A Third Temple remains possible, but Scripture does not require it. The deeper and more disturbing possibility is that the final abomination is not merely a man occupying a stone building, but a satanically empowered counterfeit usurping God’s place within the naos—the sphere of God’s dwelling, authority and rightful rule—immediately before the true King returns and destroys him by the splendour of His coming. The Temple described in detail by Ezekiel is therefore more likely to belong to the Millennial Kingdom than to the short period immediately preceding the Parousia. Ezekiel’s vision presents a restored sanctuary in Jerusalem, ordered worship, the return of the glory of God and a transformed land under the rule of the Messiah (Ezekiel 40–48). Rather than requiring a hurried Third Temple before Christ returns, it likely describes the Temple established AFTER His return.

It's great to see your 1827 theology is dying. Israel is the Church. The one who creates a covenant with many was Jesus. The 3.5 year Tribulation was AD70. (Thats how long the siege lasted) The entire was lasted 7 years dummy.

♡ Jesus is the (Third and) final Temple. ♡ And we are temples of God after model of Jesus. Any Christian interpretation of the "lawlessness one" setting himelf up in the "temple of God" to be worshipped (2 Thes 2) would be in the context of Jesus as the final Temple.

The Third Temple is within man. He will come and sit and declare himself God meaning man will become worshiper of self which is all too prevalent these days. The middle of the 70th week marks Jesus's work on the cross which ended sacrifice. 3.5 years remain starting at the AoD

@Ashleyhays2089 What's your thoughts on the final week in Daniel having already been completed by the Roman siege of Jerusalem which resulted in the destruction of the temple. Titus did what is described in this passage. I'm not challenging you, just curious about your opinion.

Never understood why Christian’s are focused in the COMMING of the antichrist? We don’t need a messiah. They all do. (Muslims too) My Messiah has risen, he is alive and he lives inside us. Why would any Christian support propping up evil?
