With all the respect to Sheikh Didou, I can see many issues in these interpretations. About the 10/12 righteous Caliphs from Quraysh, scholars generally counted the first 4 Caliphs (Abu Bakr, Umar etc.) among these. His counting of Mahdi being 3rd of the 12 is also problematic.

Have you ever seen Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān or Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruhaylī meeting with women, being invited into homes where they’re dressed up, posing for photos, and smiling for the camera? These scholars are called “harsh” simply for following the Sunnah. But when Mufti Menk does things that cross clear boundaries, people say, “He’s soft and friendly.” True softness is in obedience to Allah, not in pleasing people. Don’t put down scholars who stick to the truth while praising those who cross the line.
