He looked like he was enjoying every moment today. Looking for the next jump to tackle, and didn't even look tired coming up to the line. Possibly one of his best ever performances. He's an intelligent horse for sure.

I would say his best performance for me, and I would say he just loves to race. His ears tend to be like that with all of his runs, the day they don't move like that during the race is the day we worry haha 😅

Love how when upside Energumene, his right ear turns to enhance the sound next to him, but when coming up to a fence (a danger) both ears are stiff and front-on showing focus, and respect to what’s in front of him I’d say very clever! 👏🏼

Nicky Henderson said they have to take him for an away walk to get used to outside the yard, and then a day out at Newbury so he settles a bit better before a big race like today. I think Jonbon has horse autism.
