It depends on where you're going to use it; it might be worthwhile. If you're using it on a farm, driving at low speeds, that's fine. Otherwise, it's a reckless economy that will put your life and others at risk.

Retreads, good for this type of tyre but can prove dangerous at high speed for road tyres when tue glue gives up when hot.

Is this really safe? The tire is crucial for safety, and there is a reason we don't usually reuse them by exchanging the tread.

retreads used to be popular when I was a kid but you rarely see them anymore. They can peel right off under certain circumstances.
