@chattybird0306 🤩🔥

Awesome.

I had such a great time last year with everyone! Unfortunately, I won't be attending this year due to a family obligation.

Wow! 🤩 Amazing light show!

This is an accessibility description of the post by @theXtakeover (posted October 3, 2026). **Post text:** “One week away from 𝕏 takeover” The attached video is about 11 minutes long. It is a night-time aerial compilation of drone light shows and vehicle light formations, watermarked “X — THE WORLD’S LARGEST TESLA LIGHT SHOW COLLECTION.” The account promotes an event at Giga Texas on October 9–10, 2026. **For visually impaired viewers (what the pictures show):** The video is shot from high above a lit urban area and large parking lots at night. Early frames look straight down on rows of parked cars whose lights outline shapes in the dark lot. The view then widens to the city skyline. Swarms of drones form bright patterns in the black sky: a dotted face-like figure, a large glowing X, scattered points, a square grid of red and white lights, a round ball of red and blue dots, and a standing figure outline. On the ground, cars arrange their red and white lights into large letters and shapes (including formations that read like “X” and “11”). Later the drones spell “X in lights above the city. The clip ends on a black screen with the white X logo and the tagline “THE WORLD’S LARGEST TESLA LIGHT SHOW COLLECTION.” **For hearing impaired viewers (what the sound covers):** The soundtrack is upbeat pop/dance music with sung lyrics (no spoken narration). Heard lines include “I’ma survive, I will survive,” “you won’t survive and die,” countdown-style calls “Stage 1,” “Go Stage 2,” and “We have liftoff,” then dance lyrics (“I love to dance… give me more… get on the floor… it’s your last chance”), and repeated “Let all the children boogie” / “Let your children boogie” phrases over a sky-themed song. The opening of that light-show video uses the famous choral opening “O Fortuna.” The opening of that light-show video is “O Fortuna,” the choral movement that opens and closes Carl Orff’s cantata Carmina Burana. It is loud, pounding, and ominous: a full choir and orchestra hit heavy accents while the Latin text curses Fortune as a turning wheel that lifts people up and then throws them down. ### History The words are a medieval Latin poem from the early 13th century, part of the Carmina Burana manuscript found at the monastery of Benediktbeuern in Bavaria. The author is unknown. It is a Goliard poem — the work of wandering students and clerics — complaining about Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck. Medieval art often showed her spinning the Rota Fortunae, the Wheel of Fortune: kings rise to the top, then fall. Carl Orff found the poems in a modern edition in 1934. With the scholar Michel Hofmann he chose 24 of them and set them in 1935–36. Carmina Burana was first performed by the Frankfurt Opera on 8 June 1937. “O Fortuna” frames the whole work: it is movement 1 and returns as movement 25, both under the heading Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (“Fortune, Empress of the World”). Orff’s setting uses driving rhythms, chant-like melody, and a huge crescendo, which is why it later became a staple of film trailers and dramatic videos. ### Lyrics Original language is medieval Latin. A standard English sense of the text follows. **Latin** O Fortuna, velut luna statu variabilis, semper crescis aut decrescis; vita detestabilis nunc obdurat et tunc curat ludo mentis aciem, egestatem, potestatem dissolvit ut glaciem. Sors immanis et inanis, rota tu volubilis, status malus, vana salus semper dissolubilis, obumbrata et velata michi quoque niteris; nunc per ludum dorsum nudum fero tui sceleris. Sors salutis et virtutis michi nunc contraria, est affectus et defectus semper in angaria. Hac in hora sine mora corde pulsum tangite; quod per sortem sternit fortem, mecum omnes plangite! **English** O Fortune, like the moon you are changeable, ever waxing and waning; hateful life first oppresses and then soothes as fancy takes it; poverty and power it melts them like ice. Fate — monstrous and empty, you whirling wheel, you are malevolent, well-being is vain and always fades, shadowed and veiled you plague me too; now through the game I bring my bare back to your villainy. Fate in health and in virtue is now against me, driven on and weighted down, always enslaved. So at this hour without delay pluck the vibrating strings; since Fate strikes down the strong, everyone weep with me! The poem’s text is medieval and public domain. Orff’s musical setting is a separate 20th-century composition. The music drops into a launch-style countdown. A voice calls “Stage 1… go. Stage 2… go.” Then the count: “10, 9, 8, 7…” Engines of the soundtrack roar up, and the call comes: “We have liftoff.” Right on that cue the track switches to Nicki Minaj’s “Starships.” She is on the floor, she loves to dance, she wants more until she can’t stand. “Get on the floor, floor, like it’s your last chance. If you want more, more, then here I am.” The chorus hits: “Starships were meant to fly. Hands up and touch the sky.” Overhead, the drone lights climb and scatter like a launch plume while the cars below flash in time with the beat. The video ends on David Bowie’s “Starman,” over the last drone formations in the night sky. **For hearing impaired viewers:** After the Nicki Minaj section, the soundtrack changes to a slower, dreamy rock ballad. A male voice sings about a message from space. The clearest lines, as they land over the lights, are: there’s a starman waiting in the sky; he’d like to come and meet us, but he thinks he’d blow our minds; he told us not to blow it, ’cause he knows it’s all worthwhile; and then the repeated hook, “Let all the children boogie,” sung louder each time until a final “now.” **The song:** “Starman” was written and recorded by David Bowie and released as a single in April 1972, then as the lead single from the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. It is part of the Ziggy Stardust story: a rock star who is a messenger for alien beings. In the lyric, a starman waiting in the sky picks up a radio signal, tells the listener not to waste the chance, and asks that the children be allowed to dance (“let all the children boogie”). Bowie performed it on Top of the Pops in July 1972, the appearance often credited with breaking him to a wide British audience. The single reached No. 10 in the UK. **Lyrics heard at the end (sense of the text, not a full transcription):** A starman is waiting in the sky and would like to meet us, but fears he would blow our minds. He says not to blow the chance, because he knows it is all worthwhile. He told the singer to let the children boogie. The chorus returns and builds: let all the children boogie — now. The end of the video names Northern Lights drone shows and Tesla owner clubs in Silicon Valley and Tesla Club Austria. End-card description for the close of the light-and-drone show video. **For visually impaired viewers:** After the drone formations, the picture cuts to sponsor logos on a dark background. The first mark is Northern Lights Drone Shows. Above the words is a curved wave of pointed spikes, like an aurora or a row of lit drones, colored green, teal, and blue. Under it, bold italic capitals read “NORTHERN LIGHTS DRONE SHOWS,” with the letters shifting from blue to green. Next to or after that are the club marks. Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley appears as a wordmark, “TESLA OWNERS OF SILICON VALLEY,” often with a small Tesla-style T or club emblem beside the name. The Austria card reads as the Tesla Owners Club of Austria (Tesla Club Austria): the same Tesla-owner styling, with “AUSTRIA” clear in the name. The earlier X card can still sit in this sequence: a white stylized X, the words “X and the line “THE WORLD’S LARGEST TESLA LIGHT SHOW COLLECTION.” No people are on these frames. The logos hold, then the video ends. **For hearing impaired viewers:** These frames are silent title cards. No announcer names the sponsors. The only information is the written logos: Northern Lights Drone Shows, Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley, and Tesla Club Austria, crediting the drone team and the two owner clubs that put on the show. Engine or crowd noise is not prominent; the music carries the clip. The final logo card is silent or fades out.
