One with more balls (someone may have done this before). →

Turns out @keef_u had the idea of adding more balls back in 2021!

More brutal

Your version looks great. It'd be nice if Marco would acknowledge who he took the video from:

Thank you for pointing this out. I knew it's older than Marco's. Following the comments we have this from January 2024 (and one very close to the concept in 2021 (in the comments)):

Me! Had a go a while back (after nicking the idea from someone else)

Will they stay in balance forever??

Put lots of balls into each area, and you've got a physical simulation of foam.

Took me few minutes to create version of my own. Thanks for inspiration. Click to add extra balls to any of areas.

Maybe add stats? Like track each colors average area overtime?

génial ! 😂

Many years ago, we had a live‑stream bullet‑chat interactive version😏

Is there a body of mathematical theory about this?

Great game. Would love to be able to set a timer and then when it's over see stats on starting blocks per in each region and ending blocks. Would also like to be able to set regions to start out even so you could make it a fun betting/drinking game with friends

With a different presentation layer.

nice, can you explain the different speeds per territory that we see in the stats?

I made the speeds to be a bit randomized so it gets more interesting. If you hover over a territory it’ll tell you the speed of that ball. I’ll add a GitHub repo. Working on audio now.

There's some early audio experimentation in there, but it clearly still needs works.

It looks like your repository is private

Sorry, fixed

Occasionally, a box gets isolated. If there became immutable there might be an end-game concept? Winner has fewest immutable blocks...

Someone smart make a beautiful explanation/analogy with entropy

Is this the new game of life?

Nice one!!! Thanks for sharing :-) Would it be possible to add stats/counters/indicators at the bottom to see which territory is winning?

Added a stats window with a graph

Funny, which one would occupy the largest area in the end?

invisible balls and 100x speed could be cool

Do periodic boundaries

Did someone already do the statistical mechanics of this or are you trolling ising lovers ;P

some interesting quantization things especially if squares split into smaller pieces at each hit and could hit more than one after that might take hot minute to code

Map of medieval Europe be like

Now i need to see it with speed set to 10x, to 100x, 1000x, 10000x, 100000x, 1000000x

Cool what’s the statistical equilibrium of this

春秋戦国

Are y'all just trying to remake Elemental Weaponballs from scratch or what?

☝️ Europe over the past 4,000 years

Time lapsed map of the HRE?

should be more long to watch, this version is not enough :D

When NFT?

😎 update

this BBCs next council election night animation?

is there a starting position (with equal amount of territory for each ball) and a certain number of balls such that one ball will eventually win (because it has on average a shorter distance to travel than the others)?

Voronoi pong?
