This family drives daily from rural Nevada to Reno for outpatient chemotherapy treatments, infusions, and steroids. With a leukemia diagnosis, most treatment plans are up to three years long. He is currently finishing up his second year of treatment and is in maintenance. Although his journey is long and unpredictable at times, Lucas and his family remain positive and smiling through it all.
