only 2000s anime fans remember this

in case anybody is curious about the quality of this video

UPDATE: the Haruhi in the video has found the clip

back then i could only do this

could you tell i was a haruhi fan

the real ones remember the SOS Brigade

man what an era

what i'd give to relive that again

They used to do this dance in the middle of the hall in the convention center when you were just trying to get to the toilet

I remember watching this video for the first time all the way back in 2007, the excitement to know there are some anime fans out there in the world was unmeasurable. I miss those times I wish I could go back.

with all the other cameras there had to have been other POVs uploaded, I found this clip on my external drive today while I was digging through old photos!

I swear if you line up 5 mid-30's to 40's weebs at a con today, and play this song, muscle memory will kick in and they will remember like 30% of this dance at minimum

A lost art

before tiktok and reels and you did this all live, you only had one shot

They are stronger than I’ll ever be

omg i know it too

WHAT

There's more soul in this than any modern Kpop TikTok

the good ol days...

take me back even just for a day

The good old days, I miss so much Haruhi... I was just a baby in 2000s (I was born in 2004), but discovered Haruhi in 2011 and watch it in 2018... what a INCREDIBLE ANIME. I respect so much the people who lived in this era!!!

Not even joking I almost just cried watching this.

Babes im in my 30s and I can still do this whole dance

crazy hit tweet 😱 i have more conventions planned for this year, drop a follow for more

1 million views???? 😱

This makes me remember my crappy Haruhi cosplay from like 2007 or 2008. 😭😭

I had a theory this single anime dance was responsible for all anime dances and in turn responsible for tiktok dances as a trend.

How is this a trend now, 7 years ago I used to be so into this, and nobody gave a shit about hare hare yukai

it's not trending, people are sharing their old convention photos because of the new 2kawaii4comfort trailer

I"m

Simpler times

That just shows how incredible an anime it was, and still is to this day.

watching this gives me unprecedented levels of joy. I always love seeing Haruhi Suzumiya mentioned or shown off because it’s such a special show to me

Im doing the dance right now 🤣

Best era

we don't realize what we had until it's gone 😔

It was this shit and the Sgt Frog dance!!

I dont understand why people are posting this as if it's a long-forgotten memory. Go to a con? We still be in there dancing on stage to weeb music.

Turd

@Zellbess

Us in. 2 weeks @beauleidoscope

Holy banger tweet

drowning in notifs lmao

I just had war flashbacks to when Haruhi was everywhere
