He had an apartment in Sydney's oldest apartment building (historic protection overlay) . One unit per floor. He purchased the floor above (or below, can't remember) Anyway, he knew the other owners and the historic overlay would prevent him from joining the two so he snuck builders in at 2am to smash the ceiling in and create an internal staircase. When neighbours came to complain, he told them to fuck off.
