Changes grip because he comes off his original thought mid throwing motion. He never had control once he brought the arm back and changed his mind at the back of his release. Shit happens.

Coach, great breakdown but don’t downplay the pressure in his face too at that moment and Mateer having a history of second guessing himself. Pretty sure he was those two guys added to the split second decision wall he hit. I played that sequence over and over to see who the DB was on that play, he definitely affected Mateer!
