3 years of my life, district court appeal, front page news all because of lies ...... I won in the end but, the damage was done, lost my position at the university, put a huge strain on my relationship, I learnt the hypocrisy of AVOs and how false accusations can destroy a person

This is so wrong. This proves my point if someone makes false statements someone should go to jail. If she is correct he goes to jail. If she lied she immediately goes to jail for the same amount of time.

Gets much worse than this, and it's often used as a tool to prevent you seeing your child. As a consequence, child support gets increased since you're unable to spend time with them. Now you think after the first, second, or third avo they would stop being issued, unfortunately that's not the case and although there are laws which could be used to charge the person making the false avo, they seem to get away with it, also costs are almost never attributed.

The fix is in. They are slow walking everything against this guy. The judge is crooked.???

it’s called a mentions hearing, you can’t present evidence….its weaponised, you just have to cop it…it’s like being on bail for a crime you didn’t commit and you have to wait until trial, stick it out and it’ll be withdrawn before it gets there.

That's why we need AI to handle these cases... all cases... The bureaucracy is out of control.

@InVinoV77616493 Intervention orders get handed out like flyers IMO. I have one on me because I dared to speak out on my experiences on my socials. Didn't even mention their name. I basically got handed one because of a meme. And the other party won because I didn't have the funds to fight it.

Same story I served almost a full 2 year probationary AVO issued feb 23, court Mar then again in April, to get a hearing in Dec, ran out of time next available the following July, and the threats by the police prosecutor based on claims, my son just turned 14 a magic number to abuse…

You are not alone, brother. I know two people who this has happened to, whose lives were turned upside down by false allegations that were proven to be lies - and the female bad actors were never prosecuted for perjury afterwards. There but for the grace of God.... We live in times where the only way to beat the system is to prevent yourself getting caught up in it as best you can. Failing that - get the best legal representation you can get, and follow their advice scrupulously. The courts load the dice against men, and double standards are just a fact of life in Australia.

It isn't even just about men - although in these situations men tend to get the raw end of the deal, it is about process. The courts do not want to set a precedent where evidence matters. They want the power to always remain with those in the wrong. Sounds like 'par for the course' in the current Federal & State justice systems. The courts are thoroughly 'wokified', and often, their actions almost appear corrupt.

It's atrocious that there's so much DV in this country that courts are backlogged.The system is designed to act fast on DVOs because its necessary. Unfortunately, men wrongly accused pay a price because real abusers outnumber them & make it easy for liars to exploit the system.

The judge has already shown you that they don’t want to even look at your submissions and you have no chance of them giving it any weight. They have already found in her favour as you are in the same position as if you lost. The judge just wants to see anything at all from her.

Ive been falsely accused for nearly 10 years and the amount of dumb asswipes following her allegation shocks me,all my friends gone all my future friends all joined in even drs from mental health and nurses all falsely accused me to a point im isolated,whats wrong with people in australia.
