When I lived in California, I ran into the same problem. Since I moved to rural Texas, it’s not a problem. ‘Cause no one gives a crap about that bullsh!t. BTW, built a house and only had to pull two permits…which took two days.

It is against the law to dispose of pressure treated lumber in landfills. You are supposed to take it to a designated hazardous materials disposal site. So what did contractors do? The ones who didn’t just dump it illegally on the side of the road? They started going to private transfer stations where trucks would haul it, for a fee, to Nevada and Arizona
