Leave possums alone. Most docile animal around, won't hurt you and doesn't get rabies. They eat bugs, roaches and love ticks. I actively encourage and feed them to come in our yard.

They really are gentle creatures. I don't think they'd ever bite. And it's drooling because going limp is their instinct.

They get a bad rap, because they have a tail like a rat. The Australian possum is a much cuter animal.
