PrusaSlicer 3 on a phone 🤯 A few days ago we released the PrusaSlicer 3.0 preview. You can finally have multiple printers in one project, alongside other cool features. But the new groundwork underneath is also exciting - opening doors that were long closed. Years ago we did the heavy lifting of rewriting the slicer from Perl to C++ -> That code is now now powers every modern desktop 3D printer out there 💪 This time, we rebuilt a lot of the architecture to make the slicer much more modular and platform-agnostic. Let me show you some of our internal prototypes 🧐 📲 PrusaSlicer on Android. Simplified UI for the small screen, but most of the code is shared with desktop. Tablets are powerful today, slicing right on the device makes sense if we get out of the RAMpocalipse. 🌐 PrusaSlicer in the browser (WebAssembly). It slices locally, meaning your files never leave your machine. Browsers are not kind to memory hungry apps though, so this one might hit a wall. We'll see. To be completely clear: these are internal prototypes, NOT product announcements. Desktop 3.0 comes first. This is just to show you that more may be happening under the hood than what you can see (and that may be not limited to PrusaSlicer). Where do you want to slice?

everyone's sharing motion graphic videos that Opus 5.5 made, and it's genuinely insane everyone says they created it with "one prompt", but my one prompt video looked mid so i went through a bunch of these videos to see how they were actually made, and found the workflow that works here's how to generate pro level motion graphic videos w/ opus: 1. get reference videos to direct from -> pick 1-2 videos whose style you want and tell opus to match them. naming a style works way better than describing one without a reference, opus falls back to its default look: centered text, gradient background, everything fading in that's why so many of these videos look the same. a reference gives it the pacing, the type and the transitions to copy 2. install HyperFrames or Remotion so opus can build the video both let opus write every scene as code and render it straight to mp4. no video editor without one, opus can only describe a video or hand you a rough html page you have to screen record with it, every frame is exact, and when you ask for a change it edits one line and re-renders instead of starting over 3. install 21st for high quality components in the video real buttons, cards and UI components made by design engineers, instead of whatever opus invents on the spot without it, opus draws your product UI from scratch and it looks off. wrong spacing, placeholder boxes, fake-looking buttons anyone who's used good software can feel it in a second, and the whole video reads as cheap 4. steps 1-3 were context + setup. now dump all of it into opus your brand (logo, colors, fonts), screenshots of your real product, the reference video, and a quick braindump of how you see the video then ask for 3 storyboard variants without this, opus guesses your colors, your font and what your product even does. the video could be for any startup with it, it could only be yours. and 3 variants means you pick a direction instead of fixing the first idea it had 5. pick the storyboard you like ask for one still frame per scene before anything moves. fixing a storyboard is way cheaper than fixing a render without this step, you only find out scene 4 is wrong after the whole thing is animated, and every fix means re-rendering. a still frame takes seconds to change 6. let claude cook then give notes like a director: "slow every zoom to 0.7x", "hard cut here", "push in on the button" without notes, the first render is usually 80% there, and that last 20% is what makes it look pro. vague notes like "make it better" get random changes. camera words get exactly the change you want everyone has the same model. the context you give it is what makes it look pro let it cooookk

When you put two and two together you figure out that the smaller craft we have been seeing are the scout crafts. 👀 That means biggest ships are coming…🤯🛸 This one looks like one big ship and you can almost see the outline of it, the camouflage is insane but you can definitely see the silhouette of a craft. The only reason for them to be here is to show us that “They” are here and present. It’s also to show that there is nothing to fear because they are not attacking, just monitoring. This was most likely due to the rising tensions and potential for nuclear ☢️ war. They did the same in WW2 and most likely did the same before as well. In WW2 they appeared as “lights in the sky” and we are now seeing something very similar and it’s not by coincidence. If I’m wrong then I’m wrong but I don’t see any other explanation from the behaviours we are witnessing. And with that, the US Open dream is over 😞 Just wrapped up U.S. Open local qualifying at Medford Village Country Club Didn’t quite have my best stuff off the tee today—and on a course this tight, that’s a problem. When I did find fairways, I couldn’t get it close enough to give myself real chances. Greens were absolutely rapid if you were out of position… borderline terrifying at times 😅 but I did hole some really good putts to grind out pars and keep the round alive. Only one birdie all day though, and that’s never going to get it done at this level. Finished +3 (75) — currently 37th out of 120 (top third of the field), so there are still some positives to take. Battled well, stayed patient, and didn’t let it completely get away from me—which is something I’m trying to get better at in these events. One qualifier down, one more to go in June for The Open Championship. Plenty of work to do before then—tighten up the driver, sharpen the wedges, and turn a few of those pars into birdies. Another opportunity coming… and I’ll be ready to give it a proper run 👊 Thanks as always to Shot Scope for the wonderful stats!!

So, President Trump can receive the Traditional Flight into D.C. on Air Force One (this is a C-32, which is what Trump Force One is as well)…. But find me the video for “Biden” being flown into D.C. on any Air Force aircraft. On January 20, 2021, these things took place: a. "Joe" did not receive the traditional flight into D.C. on any Air Force aircraft. b. Swore in at 11:47 AM EST - violation of the 20th Amendment. c. National Guard did NOT salute motorcade and moving Flags, had turned their backs turned to them. d. Amazing Grace was performed - Army Memorial Honors for a Funeral. e. There was NOT a Commissioned Officer at Cannons show for “Biden” - violation of Army Regulations 600-25, 2-3 Cannon Salutes. f. The ONLY Cannons shown all day for "Joe" was 3 Cannons at Arlington National Cemetery... which is a Military FUNERAL Honors NOT a 21-Gun Salute. g. The 4 Cannons, 21-Gun Salute, was at Joint Base Andrews with President Trump. h. On the Capitol Building, the States Flag, only had 13 Stars for “Joe”… matching President Trump’s 13 Stars on January 20, 2017, which is Rhode Island… Neither have lived in Rhode Island. The only other reason there would be 13 Stars… is 13 original Colonies at the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Which talks about resetting our Foundation. jev + opus 5.5 for design is insane... a launch video used to mean an agency, weeks of back and forth and a fat invoice. now Opus 5.5 makes the video, the ad cuts and the landing page from one brief. the video below: made in 3 minutes. at 0:09 it drops into edit mode - dot grid, selection handles, pixel sizes on every card - so you see exactly how it was built. but most people get the same mid result: centered text, gradient background, everything fading in. That's Opus's default look when it has nothing to copy. here's the pipeline that makes it look like an agency did it: 1. Build the brand brain first → logo, colors, fonts, screenshots of your real product, your best ad copy → have Opus turn it into a DESIGN.md. The video and the site both follow it 2.
