I was told not to say "white liberal feminists," but I've never been a well behaved woman and I’m not going to start now, so here we go... Picture this: we've got white liberal feminists doing a victory dance because some dude decided to physically assault another woman. It's like feminism has taken a U-turn back to the dark ages where the same women who once fought tooth and nail for safety and equality are now high-fiving the very men they should be holding the line against. It's a bizarre world where white liberal feminists are making videos of themselves cheering on the mental gymnastics of these guys, all in the name of... what exactly? Gaining some twisted badge of honor from men who clearly missed the memo on basic human respect? So here we are, watching the protectors become the oppressors, all while trying to keep a straight face. It’s the feminist version of "hold my beer" as they put their boot on the neck of sisterhood to win some kind of bizarre respect from the trans dudes-bro hall of fame. If irony had a day job, this would be it.
