As you see in the video, people who were enjoying the park had to leave because this takeover got out of hand. We have officers and detectives who monitor when takeovers are advertised online, but parents, we need your help. Know what your child is doing with his or her time. Know who they’re spending time with. Ask questions. It’s very easy to see the difference between a legitimate event and one of these ‘takeovers’. Teenagers planning more takeovers, beware. We know, and we will stop them.

I just re-watched an interview I did with Charlie Kirk as I was just starting out as American Thought Leaders 🇺🇸 with @JanJekielek host. A few things stand out: ∙ He's clearly an old soul in a young man's body. ∙ He's prescient and has a TON of clarity on the culture war, which he describes as a civilization going through an identity crisis: "Are we to believe more in Marx, or do we believe more in John Locke?" ∙ His top three issues: 1. Who are we as Americans? 2. Corruption in government 3. Too much power held by non-governmental oligarchs (Hollywood, Silicon Valley) ∙ He makes a point of NOT TAKING CREDIT for the growth of young people embracing conservative principles, even as President Trump clearly thought it significant enough that he was speaking at this Turning Point USA teen event, where we did the interview. ∙ Big Tech censorship is a key issue for the teens there (in contrast to what I was hearing about most Gen Z, which polling was showing were accepting the Big Tech filter as normal). ∙ "Our movement is rooted in timeless principles." ∙ "You can never count on the other side to get you elected." ∙ His wildly successful campus tour project is just about to begin, and he's excited about it. ∙ What he wants for the 1500 teens at the summit: "My biggest hope is that they'll run for office." ∙ "More than anything else, I just want to see this generation and these students here fight, fight for freedom, and understand the threat that the left poses to our country." ∙ "The future is bright and we're going to win the future."

my new favorite hobby is reading about Anthropic's internal AI workflows this one especially caught my attention: anthropic's ENTIRE legal review process is now handled by just 1 Claude system a single non-technical lawyer vibe-coded and it cut turnaround time by 80% here's how 1 lawyer is doing the job of an entire legal review team: the problem: at most companies, before anything goes live publicly, the legal team has to review it first. landing pages, ad copy, blog posts, push notifications, emails. basically anything that could get the company in trouble if the wording is wrong. at anthropic, the night before a product launch, marketing would send all of this to legal saying "please review today, we go live tomorrow." legal then had to: 1. open every single doc and read it word by word 2. flag anything that could be a problem and leave comments 3. send it back to marketing and wait for them to revise 4. review the revisions and repeat this usually went two or three rounds and took 2-3+ days to clear a single launch. every product launch at a $380 billion company was being held up by this back-and-forth. so mark pike, anthropic's associate general counsel with zero coding experience, decided to fix it. he built a self-serve legal review tool pinned directly in slack. 1. marketers now paste their content into the tool 2. then the AI reads the entire thing and checks it against anthropic's actual legal guidelines. so if a landing page says "claude is the most secure AI on the market," the tool flags it as an overstated claim. that's the kind of language that could trigger a lawsuit because anthropic would have to prove it's true in court. every issue gets assigned a risk level: low, medium, or high. low might be a missing trademark symbol high might be a claim that could create real legal liability. but it doesn't just tell you what's wrong. it'll actually tell you exactly how to fix it. 1. so the marketer reads the flagged issues 2. makes the fixes themselves 3. and cleans up the content before a lawyer ever touches it. that's the key shift: the legal team went from reviewing raw content from scratch to only seeing stuff that's already been pre-screened, pre-fixed, and organized by risk level. by the time pike looks at it, all the obvious problems are already gone. he's only spending time on the things that actually require legal judgment. pike still personally reviews everything before it goes live. his quote: "i still read the blog post. i'm still reviewing the work." but the 80% of the work that used to be catching obvious mistakes and going back and forth on easy fixes? it's all handled now before it ever hits his desk. the reason the AI review is actually good enough for lawyers to trust: pike didn't just tell claude "review marketing content." he wrote out his actual review guidance and stored it as a skill: what counts as an overstated claim, what needs a trademark symbol, what types of language create liability, what statistics need sourcing, etc it's pike's expertise and the team's accumulated guidance, codified into a system that runs the same checks they would a $380 billion company's pre-launch legal review. automated by one lawyer who had never written a line of code lol truly amazing

So A16Z GAMES speedrun is in the books. It has been quite a ride for Avataros (story below) but since most won't read that far, huge shout out to our cohort lead Troy Kirwin for just being awesome, and andrew chen and the whole A16Z GAMES team for a truly excellent program. In August of last year we got accepted to Speedrun 2 in SF. My wife and I were expecting our 3rd child and we realized the little guy would be due to pop during the program. This was such an amazing opportunity that we moved heaven and earth to make it happen (shout out to the most amazing wife and mom in the world Meron Bratzel). But as things go, the day before I was set to get on a plane to San Francisco, I got a call from my wife. She was at a check-up with her OB. We were still more than 5 weeks away from the due date but they were going to keep her at the hospital indefinitely. I got to the hospital, spoke with my wife and the doctors, and then when I had a minute I called Troy and told him the situation. The A16Z Team got back to me nearly instantly and told me not to give it a second thought - come to Speedrun 3 instead. Little RoRo was born just a few days later, and he and his Mama were both in perfect health. And it turned out Speedrun 3 was held in my own backyard of LA at the new A16Z office, making it much more convenient for us with a newborn. Having this come full circle, with such an amazing response and result on all fronts is truly remarkable, and I'm so appreciative of everyone that has supported us along the way.

I'M BACK (new direction from my social media moving fwd) After being MIA on social for the past several months, I'm getting back on the wagon. So here's what you can expect from my socials (particularly YT) moving fwd: I am throwing out all the advice I've gotten on YT regarding trying to make viral videos, catchy titles, mr beast style thumbnails, etc etc etc And instead, I'm just going to be releasing a new updated version of my sales training online, for free. It will put on YouTube. And it will be called Advanced Sales Techniques Series. I'll still have my team distribute clips of it on other channels, but that will be the main place if you want to dive in. Now, just a quick heads up before you dive into the series: This won't be a beginner style sales training. Can it help beginners? Absolutely. But it's going to be some of my most in-depth and advanced content. It's not going to be optimized to get views, at all. And quite frankly, I could give 2 shits at this point about views. My companies are both extremely successful (and profitable) without organic social media. I also don't care about being famous, either. The only reason I'm doing this is because I've spent thousands of hours on this training. And I want to put it out in the world, publicly, before the "sales training" chapter of my life is over. In 2010 when I was medically discharged from the military Charlie Hobson (who at the time was CEO of The Royal Marines Association) gave me a job. My only other options according to a recruitment agency were labourer on a building site or check out assistant in a supermarket, both great jobs but not ones that lit my fire or I felt I could put my heart and soul into. After his time at the RMA & various other jobs Charlie then started working for Rock 2 Recovery UK who many of you know are an incredible organisation that have helped and saved thousands of lives within the Veteran & Emergency Services Community. Well after decades of helping and supporting others Charlie is finally retiring and I’m doing what I can to help him walk off into the sunset to spend time with his family. Before he goes he wants to do one more fundraiser to try and raise as much money as possible for Rock2Recovery so they can continue to do the incredible work that they do. Go Navy! Last year, in the course of filming Something to Stand For, I had a chance to visit most of the major memorials in DC. Among the ones I missed, was the U.S. Navy Memorial, which I’ve walked past a hundred times but never took the time to enter. Recently though, I not only got a tour, I got a chance to jam with The Sea Chanters, who happened to be rehearsing in the Burke Theater while I was there. The proof is on the attached video, which seemed a sensible thing to share on this day. However, I didn’t go to the memorial to sing; I went there to present The President and CEO of the Memorial, Ret. Vice Admiral John Nowell, with a collection of 5-ounce solid silver coins commemorating four of the most significant battles in the second world war. Friends of this page know that every so often, my friends at U.S. Money Reserve will send me out into the world to present The Valor and Victory Series to members of The Greatest Generation, or in this case, to a stunning Memorial that should be visited by every American citizen. It was my idea to film these little excursions and share the videos online, and I’m grateful to U.S. Money Reserve for making that happen. (Honestly, I wish more companies would make an effort to celebrate our veterans in this way. Big thanks to Angela Roberts, for making it happen, and for doing so much over the years to support our military.) I think it’s important, especially on a weekend like this, to call attention to the men and women who gave their lives on our behalf, and that’s precisely why the Navy Memorial exists. Their exact mission is “To Honor, Recognize, and Celebrate the men and women of the Sea Services, past, present, and future; and to Inform the public about their service.” And I can tell you this – they take that mission very seriously and they execute it to perfection every day. From the legendary Navy Log, which includes the names of everyone to ever serve in the U.S. Sea Services going all the way back to 1776, to the Lone Sailor Statue, to the largest map in the world – The Granite Sea – there’s a lot to see, a lot to take in, and a lot to be grateful for. I’m thrilled to share with you my new album, ‘When Paths Meet’ (Volume 2). I wrote these works as a way of gathering and connecting the amazing love, wisdom and beauty that’s at the heart of world music traditions. The ‘When Paths Meet’ concert series is born from the belief that there are patterns of perfection in traditional art, and that these patterns have a power that’s needed to counteract turmoil and chaos at an essential level. In the Paris concerts we brought together music and musicians from France, from West and North Africa, from the Middle East and Central Asia, and from China in ecstatic dialogue. From the intricate geometry of the Baroque form, to haunting mughams of Azerbaijan, to the meditative sounds of the West African kora and Chinese erhu, it turned out to be a stunning collaboration. When you listen, you’ll see how brilliant these musicians are. They turned my vision into a reality. I couldn’t be more grateful to them. I’ll have more to say in the coming days. For now, I want to thank the stellar musicians of The Scoring Orchestra, The Métaboles, and The Sami Yusuf ensemble. Each one of you has my endless gratitude. Thank you to the virtuoso soloists and specialist musicians: vocalist Nabyla Maan, Eléonore Fourniau on vocals and hurdy gurdy, Ballaké Sissoko on kora, Guo Gan on erhu, Antoine Morinière on classical guitar, Loriane Llorca on the organ, and Nicolas Mackowiak on harpsichord. ‼️EXPOSED: Turning Point’s OBSESSION With Trying to Get Me BANNED Over an AI Profile Picture Of Charlie🤡 Coach Colin dropped a clip reacting to the latest Turning Point Action lawfare against me, and he nailed it. Here’s the full situation for anyone just catching up: Right after Charlie was assassinated, I put a photo of him as my profile picture as a memorial. He was one of the biggest reasons I started this channel. That original image was a Gage Skidmore photograph published under an irrevocable Creative Commons license — meaning the public was given permanent permission to use and modify it. Turning Point Action later claimed exclusive ownership, sent multiple Cease & Desist letters, and demanded I never use Charlie’s name or image again. I rejected their overreach, replaced the image, and eventually switched to a completely AI-generated image of Charlie that has zero connection to the original photograph. My bio has clearly stated the entire time that the profile photo is AI-created and that this account is not affiliated with Turning Point. They still filed a DMCA copyright notice on July 29 and got the photo removed. I countered. They filed a second, nearly identical DMCA on August 3 against the brand-new AI image and got that one removed too. I countered again. X Legal Support reviewed everything and stated in writing that my account is not in violation of their copyright policy.
