From my vantage point at Church & Adelaide, there was definitely rotation

The more I think about it, that had to be the bear’s cage that passed over right after your video. At ground level, Church & Adelaide, first wind gust & rain was violent left to right, followed by a rapid wind shift right to left! Wind easily in excess of 100km/hr!

#ONStorm #ONwx Wow! 😮 I’ve never seen fog/smog this thick in my life. It’s like living in the clouds! ☁️ An area of thick fog has set up over Downtown #Toronto producing near-zero visibility. This fog is also mixed in with pollution that has nowhere to go, leading to reduced air quality as well. - Brennen

#ONStorm #ONwx WOAH! 😮 It looks like we very likely had a tornado touch down in the Belmont area not too long ago, as the tornado warned storm moved through the area. Dr. Sills from the Northern Tornadoes Project agrees that this was probably more than just a gustnado, like what we were seeing yesterday, but it will still need to be confirmed.
