The acting Director General of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has alleged that a well known public university played a role in the NSS scandal by submitting several ghost names to the scheme. According to him, the university included individuals who were not even enrolled as students. He stated that the NSS has detailed records of this in their system and is prepared to provide the information if the Auditor General chooses to investigate the matter.
