If this was modern day there'd be a 2 hour discussion as to how Everton are bottlers as they lost the league and FA cup to Liverpool followed by a 2 hour phone in with fans of Everton calling for the head of Howard Kendall. Back then the better team won and everyone moved on.

That was proper cup final coverage back then 3pm the Saturday after the league had finished, with the buildup starting at 10am and the Scottish cup was always played at the same time as well,
