@jeremyphoward @VanishingData that was the most brutal takedown delivered with the most casual and friendly demeanor. It's like when your parents tell you you're doing an OK job but with an affect that makes it clear they're actually really disappointed in you 😅

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData Lol I had a feeling he had some insider info when he said that

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData @jeremyphoward is always incredibly grounded. A welcome refuge from all the hype/doom

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData What an insane take when literally every month some amazing advancement happens. Like bro rewind a year and see how far we’ve come

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData His argument is what exactly? I don’t really see any points raise except maybe “the products doesn’t wow me”

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData Too early to say things like this As long @ilyasut is there my faith in @OpenAI will remain strong - his pretty much the brains behind all the models and vision - if you listen to his talks and pod casts

@ceobillionaire @jeremyphoward @VanishingData I wanted Chat GPT to give me two towns around Prague with around 2600 inhabitants and 12600 inhabitants respectively (I was writing a report and needed such towns for comparison). It gave me two tows with 12000 inhabitants - one of them quite far from Prague. NGMI.

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData There is no real competition and demand for the premium service temporarily outstrips supply, therefore NGMI? That it's not resulting in foom...that's good. But I still think software engineering is going to become >3-5x more productive, due to elaborations of this technology

@jeremyphoward @VanishingData I've attended a handful of 'dev day' events this year. I have to say that they're, all mostly like this. The recent growth has been explosive... but it's also absolutely exhausting keeping up with it all. I think everyone needs time to marinate a bit but we're not done yet.
